Bengal Fine Arts College is an opportunity for those students who want to learn and grow in art in a green peaceful environment. Its location Chandpara, is basically a small town well connected by rail and road with the prime centers of art in Kolkata. The surroundings show rural life which is rapidly growing with all urban facilities. To nurture the creative urge in mind this is an ideal place which provides scope of free thinking and opportunities to observe gradual socio-economic development. We ensure compassionate teaching and work culture to encourage our students. Passion for art comes only to those who are sensitive by mind. We know they need to be treated with care. Individual care to nourish the artistic soul in every young mind is our priority. Our highly qualified and skilled faculty members always promote the students in the field of career, national and international achievements and research. Our students are working all over India in several Government and private sectors. Some of them have managed to get settled abroad as different art based professionals like freelance artists, illustrators, designers, and curators.  We always try to stay updated. Our students participate in national and international art competitions and exhibitions. Some of our students made our state and nation proud by achieving highest position in those events. We have a strong research unit. We promote and support our faculties and senior students to do doctoral research, publication in UGC care-listed and high indexed research journals.
