Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility:

Undergraduate (UG) Courses: Passing of H.S. (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination.

Undergraduate (UG) Courses: The upper age limit is 26 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

Postgraduate (PG) Courses: The upper age limit is 30 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

Women Candidates: There is no upper age limit for women candidates applying to IKSVV.

SC/ST/OBC Candidates: A relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is allowed.

Differently Abled Candidates: A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is permitted for handicapped/differently abled applicants.

These eligibility criteria apply uniformly to both national and international applicants seeking admission to the College. All candidates, irrespective of nationality, must fulfill the prescribed requirements as specified for the respective programme at the time of admission.

Structure of the Course:

(a) The programme includes a one-year Foundation Course, which is compulsory and serves as the qualifying prerequisite for enrolment in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree programme.

(b) Upon successful completion of the Foundation Course, students proceed to the specialisation stage, which consists of three years of intensive study in the chosen area of specialisation.
